We stand by our advice and will serve as a co-fiduciary and advocate for your plan and participants.

Retirement Plan Review

We assess the strengths, weaknesses, and costs of a retirement plan and review potential program enhancements and savings with the plan sponsor.

Investment Policy

Our IPS documents memorialize the policies and objectives for plan administration and include manager selection, monitoring, and termination guidelines.

Investment Performance Monitoring

We evaluate each manager's performance and the performance of the plan versus its objectives and peer groups. We provide comprehensive summary reports and specific recommendations to either retain, watch list or terminate managers.

Manager Searches

Our process focuses on identifying suitable managers with strong long-term track records and downside protection.

Asset Allocation Strategies

We identify the optimal mix of asset classes by taking the plan’s unique objectives and constraints into consideration. We focus on strategic, long-term asset allocation with regularly scheduled re-balancing. We use stochastic techniques to evaluate assets and liabilities under a range of economic models.

Vendor Searches

for 401(k), 403(b), 457(b) and Defined Benefit Plans

We assist the plan sponsor by putting their retirement program out to bid in order to survey the marketplace and identify suitable providers. We evaluate the proposed investment line-ups, record-keeping systems, and communications programs. We serve as an advocate for the plan and negotiate competitive fees, features, and terms.

Fee Benchmarking

We survey the marketplace to assess the competitiveness of your plan’s fees.   In some cases, we find that plan sponsors are paying too much.  Our analysis could lead to cost savings, potentially boosting your employees’ retirement savings.

Target Date Fund Review & Selection

We will conduct a review to determine the most suitable Target Date Fund (“TDF”) suite for your program based on the Department of Labor guidelines. This evaluation includes the recommendation of a specific "glide path" based upon a review of your plan's demographics, employee behavior and  potential options on your vendor's platform.

Qualified Default Investment Alternative

("QDIA") Evaluation

We will help you identify the most suitable solution based on your plan's investment objectives and demographics. Once the appropriate solution is selected, we will document and monitor this process to ensure it is continuously meeting the needs of your plan.

Plan Design, Compliance & Audit Services

We can provide an assessment of your plan’s current design to ensure your organization’s retirement plan practices and goals are aligned with the overall well-being and retirement readiness for your employees.  We can also review your current 401(k) policies and procedures and audit past plan data to ensure your plan is in compliance with the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and best industry practices.
